Eco-friendly use
Evolon® textiles are long-lasting materials designed for demanding applications and generate less waste than conventional alternatives.
Safe composition
No solvent is used to generate the microfilaments and no chemical binder is used during the Evolon® manufacturing process. Evolon® microfilament textiles are also PVC-free.
Evolon® base fabrics are Oeko-Tex 100 product class I certified, which guarantees that they contain no substances that will be harmful in contact with baby skin.
Preservation of resources
Evolon® technology helps to save raw materials compared with the production of traditional textiles. Evolon® microfilament textiles are 2 to 4 times lighter than traditional materials for which they can be used as a substitute with equivalent or superior performance.
The manufacture of Evolon® textiles consumes around 400 times less water than the production of cotton fabrics.
Furthermore, the water used during manufacturing is recycled and re-used internally. Thanks to this process, Evolon® was awarded a special environmental prize: Eco-Trophée du Parc Naturel Régional des Ballons des Vosges.
In addition to ISO 14001 certification, the manufacturing site of Evolon® microfilament textiles is ISO 50001 certified for its energy management system.
